The Centre received a major research grant under the scheme ERC CZ to fund its comparative and interdisciplinary project on “Identity and Constitutionalism: The Community-building Capacity of Constitutions in the EU-MENAP Region”. It investigates the role of constitutions and constitutionalism in the formation of collective political identity across eight countries in Europe and Middle East and North Africa. This two-year project, involving comparative constitutionalists, political scientists and sociologists, commences in November 2021
